Just a taste of what is in store for you art enthusiasts out there as you visit the exclusive inaugural “River Suir Inspired” themed exhibition during the Clancy Brothers Festival this year... where each participating Art Trail 2011 artist will be submitting a creative work of art reflecting the mystery and beauty of the River Suir...not to be missed...

The Clancy Festival Art Trail Artists would like to sincerely thank everyone who came along to support their Art Benefit Party, on Friday night March 25 2011 at the Nano Nagle Centre. The fundraising event benefiting the Clancy Festival Art Exhibition Trail 2011 programme was a great success! For this event 30 Local Artists from Carrick-on-Suir and its environs united, created and donated 34 unique original 5” x 7” works of art. All artwork was sold throughout the evening! Adding to the creative artistic celebration, party goers enjoyed live traditional music by local musicians Pete Smith, Paney Bartley, Sheila Wood, Kevin Power, Aine Power, Eibhlin Power and members of Cois Siúire Folk Group. The Art Community look forward to meeting you again on the Art Trail during the Clancy Brothers Music & Arts Festival June 3rd -6th 2011.
